Johnson Jaguars First State Qualifier

Congradulations to Claudia Carlson as she will go down in History as the first ever State Qualifier in Johnson History. Claudia, a junior, placed second in the Girls 100 Yard Butterfly this past weekend at the Regional swim and dive meet at Josh Davis Natatorium. Claudia's time of 56.90 qualified her for the State swim meet in Austin in 2 weeks. To honor Claudia on her acomplishment we have posted our first ever photo on this blog. I mean it is a Photography blog I guess we should have a photo or two. The Photo was taken at the Regional Meet on the last stretch of the 100 Yard butterfly.

Congradulations Claudia and Good Luck at State!!

Jaguar Pride Photography – Update Feb16, 2009

We have uploaded quite a few photos this weekend and there are more coming. Photos from the Freshman girls and JV Girls Basketball games vs Reagan are up. Along with Photos from Boys JV Soccer vs Taft and some baseball scrimmage photos. We are waiting on Photos from the Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls games vs Reagan and those should go up as soon as we have them in hand from the photographer.

FAQ - How can I get involved?

How can I get involved?

So you have purchased a Digital SLR camera. You have a few lenses. You love taking photos at sporting events. But (like all of us) you need practice, and want people to see your work. You also want to give back to the Johnson High School Athletic Department.

Well then we have a JOB for you!!

We are always looking for volunteer Photographers that want to join our team. You can shoot as much as you want or as little as you want. You can shoot a certain sport or a certain team.

If you are interested in volunteering your time and talent to the Jaguar Pride Association as a photographer and would like to donate your photos to the Jaguar Pride Photography website for sale by the booster club. Please contact us at Albright527@me.com.

Maybe you’re not sure if your “Stuff” is good enough. Maybe you don’t know how much time you can dedicate to shooting Jaguar Sports. You will never know unless you ask.

What we can provide to you is access to most games. Exposure for your photography business and from time to time the booster club may choose to stipend you for the equipment you have to have to shoot action sports.

You do not have to have a child at Johnson, you do not have to have an over abundance of sports photography experience. All it takes is about 45min to an hour of your time to find out if Jaguar Pride Photography is right for you.
